A super fast green hawk, Jet the Hawk (ジェット・ザ・ホーク) serves as Sonic's new rival within the Babylon Rogues. He bears a slight resemblance to Bean the Dynamite, and Predator Hawk from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics. He is the leader of the Babylon Rogues and is known as the 'Legendary Wind Rider' due to his skill in Extreme Gear. He also carries around a mysterious black box that has been rumored to be passed down from the Ancient Babylons. His green airboard is the Type J, and is supposed to rival Sonic's for speed. Jet wants to make Sonic see that he may be fastest on the ground but in the air Jet is the ultimate.

Other appearances
Sir Lamorak of Sonic and the Black Knight is Jet's interdimensional counterpart in the Grand Kingdom.
Jet also appeared as a rival in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series, starting with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games where his challenge is the snowboard cross, his board looks just like Type J. Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games finally makes him playable as a guest character exclusive to Football in both versions of the game. Interestingly, he was planned to be playable in the first game.
Jet was added to Sonic Forces: Speed Battle as a playable character as of the v2.1.0 update released on July 10, 2018.
