Super Silver is Silver the Hedgehog's Super transformation. Like Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Heroes, he did not transform on his own, but was given the power to transform by Super Sonic. He appears during the final battle of the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog game.

Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW comics)
In the Sonic the Hedgehog comics by IDW Publishing, Super Silver made an appearance in issue #29, at the end of the Metal Virus saga. After taking the last Chaos Emerald from Zavok, both Sonic and Silver used the Chaos Emeralds to transform into their Super forms and defeat Zavok. Combining his power with Super Sonic's and the Warp Topaz, Super Silver siphoned the Metal Virus from the entire planet while Super Sonic sent the Metal Virus into the sun.
