Void is the name of the antagonist in Sonic Shuffle. He is one half of Maginaryworld's ruler Illumina; Lumina Flowlight is the other half. Unaware of this at first, Sonic and his friends set out to defeat him, but when he expresses his feelings of loneliness they decide to try and help him. It turns out that Void is necessary for the balance in Maginaryworld, as he is the nothingness that gives people the ability to dream.
