Mecha Sonic Mk. III is the robot doubleganger of Sonic the Hedgehog seen on the Final Egg in Sonic Adventure.

History

Sonic Adventure

When E-102 Gamma is first activated by Dr. Eggman, and scans around the robotics lab in Final Egg, two Sonic robots can be seen floating inside green suspension tubes. One is Metal Sonic himself, while the other is the previously unseen Mecha Sonic Mk. III.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie comics)

Within the Archie Sonic continuity, Mecha Sonic Mk. III's design was used for the character of Silver Sonic II.

Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW comics)

Mecha Sonic Mk. III appears once again in another laboratory for Dr. Eggman with Orbot and Cubot in Sonic the Hedgehog: Winter Jam.
