Jellygnite is a jellyfish badnik exclusive to the 2013 remake of Sonic 2.

Jellygnite can found in underwater sections of Hidden Palace Zone. It has an attack pattern similar Chemical Plant Zone's Grabber, catching the player in its tentacles before self-destructing a short while later. However, unlike Grabber whose attack is impossible for a single player to escape, it is possible to escape Jellygnite's tentacles by repeatedly pressing buttons.

Jellygnite reappears in Sonic Mania's Hydrocity Zone, once again inhabiting the underwater sections of the stage. This version behaves identically to its original counterpart.
