On Dr. Eggman's birthday Heavy Shinobi was with the other Hard Boiled Heavies in leading the attack against Sonic the Hedgehog. Once the doctor realized that they were out for battle unprepared he traveled to their location to send them back home. While Eggman was scolding his Badniks for their mistake, Heavy Shinobi didn't say much and let Heavy Rider do the talking.[3]
