F-6t BIG FOOT is a Ground/Air Combat Walker robot, part of the GUN's military force. It's controlled by an agent of said organization and is capable of moving by walking or hovering, and attacks by firing a Gatling gun on the former case while launching homing missile volleys on the latter. It's the first boss encountered in the Hero side story of Sonic Adventure 2 and fought by Sonic after City Escape, Who GUN confuses Sonic for Shadow the Hedgehog.
The setting is the outskirts of City Escape at night, with some of the same billboards plus a Phantasy Star Online one. The boss arena is circular and has four wooden containers, which will be eventually be destroyed by bullets. The robot can leave the arena to the outliers and destroy the containers there as well, but they’re not reachable by Sonic.
BIG FOOT will start about by pulling up its legs into hovering mode and fly through the stage in an almostfigure 8 pattern. strafing the ground with its Gatling gun, one round per half of figure. Eventually the legs drop back down and it switches movement type to ground. When it lands, it will open up missile launchers on its shoulders and fire two rounds of four homing missiles each. Then it switches back to hovering mode. If successfully hit in any configuration, it will take off and pass to the next pattern, regardless of having fired its gun/missiles or not.
The weak point is the cockpit and there are several ways to get there. The first is to wait until it switches configurations to ground mode, where the cockpit is reachable by Sonic. The second is to use the wooden containers as F-6t flies across the stage, because the additional height allows Sonic to reach the cockpit as well. This method is much more dangerous than the previous one, as there is always the risk of hitting the bullets while attacking. It’s worth noting that if this method is used, F-6t will keep flying until it finishes its complete figure 8 pattern. Yet another way of reaching the cockpit is by using the Bounce Bracelet, as Sonic can reach much higher than with his ordinary jump. But like with the wooden container strategy mentioned above, there’s the risk of accidentally running into the Gatling Gun's fire (though said risks are reduced somewhat as bouncing up takes you slightly higher up than jumping off the crate).

In Shadow the Hedgehog's Iron Jungle, Eggman's robots are under attack from a pursuing force of GUN mechas. If Shadow is being accompanied by Eggman's Drone, the Doctor will remark "That's just like the Big Foot from Prison Island!". Robotnik is apparently getting confused with the B-3x HOT SHOT, a similar mech which actually was faced by him and Shadow on the island.
The F-6t BIG FOOT appears in episode 34, Sonic the Fugitive (EN: Shadow Knows) and it serves the same purpose as the game. It has an additional light beacon mounted on top of the cockpit and though it descends similarly to its game's conterpart, it attacks always on the ground. Additionally, there are only two missiles fired per barrage, which follow until there's a hit. Sonic defeats BIG FOOT by making the missiles home into the cockpit. In the card information that is displayed in the japanese version, its dimensions are 3.4m (height) per 4.8m (width (?)), while its weight is 9.2t.
- In the Dreamcast versions of the Game, the Player was able, after obtaining it, to beat F-6t BIG FOOT comepletely down by using a single, well-placed Light Attack on it, since the attack didn´t stop before the enemy was dead. In the GameCube-Versions however, that was changed.
