RhinoBot[1] (リノボット[2]), alternatively spelled as Rhinobot[3] in Sonic Jam and also known as Cyclone (サイクロン[4][5]) in Japan, is a rhinoceros-like Badnik from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 found in Angel Island Zone.
Overview
Designed like rhinoceroses with single wheels for movement, these Badniks charge back and forth along the ground. When approached, they furiously charge against the player. They can be easily destroyed by jumping or the Spin Attack. This Badnik was later used as inspiration for Sonic Adventure's Rhinotank.
RhinoBot returns in the Encore Mode of Sonic Mania Plus, found in Angel Island Zone with the same attack pattern. A group of them also attack Knuckles in Sonic Mania Adventures.
