Stories
HAMMER SPACED
Orbot and Cubot failing to summon a stylized logo.
Amy Rose clings onto Sonic the Hedgehog, crying and distraught at losing her hammer in the prior issue. Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks look at the scene with growing concern. Trying to help her remember where she last saw it only makes Amy more upset, so Sticks throws Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles out the front door to go look for it. A montage is shown of Knuckles bringing Tails a jack hammer, a hammerhead shark, and a screwdriver, to Tails' increasing frustration. The next page shows Tails speaking with a beaver, presenting him increasingly large hammers, as Sonic runs around the border of both pages searching the island.
Meanwhile, Sticks tries to console Amy by showing how to use some of her weapons, throwing her boomerang and questioning if it's meant to come back. "Meanwhile-ier", Dr. Eggman tells Orbot and Cubot that they had better finish repairing his mech. The two wonder if they can get a fancy logo in their speech bubble like the other characters get when first being introduced in an issue, but fail to produce any. As Orbot goes on to lament his comic-relief-in-a-comic status, he finds Amy's hammer among some rubble and declares it as his. "Meanwhile-iest", Sticks anxiously gives Amy a staff to swing around. Knuckles appears to ask how things are going, making Amy unknowingly bonk Sticks in the head with the staff. This causes her to turn to apologize to Sticks, knocking Knuckles over with it in the process.
The issue then cuts back to Cubot using Amy's hammer as an air guitar. Orbot calls him a moron, which appears in a stylized logo as they had been hoping for. He then recognizes the hammer as Amy's, and urges that they must deliver it to Eggman immediately. Cubot refuses to give it over, causing them to roll around fighting over it. Their ruckus knocks the hammer over to mute the warning alarm system on Eggman's mech just as he settles in to pilot it. Orbot and Cubot then accidentally ricochet the hammer skyward, piercing through the mech, which then crumbles to pieces. The hammer is shown speeding through the sky toward the island, landing right in Sonic's open hand during a conversation with Tails. Amy is elated to see that Sonic "found" it, with Sonic chalking it up as another day saved. The characters wish each other a good night and go their separate ways. On the last page Sticks notices something in the grass, teasing what will happen in the next issue.

Off Panel
Eggman sits by a fireplace and greets the reader, mentioning that he didn't see them there. He begins opening fanmail from the comic's readers in the hopes of finding sentiments praising him. He tosses a few behind him that ask questions that are unrelated to him, such as one that appears to be asking why Knuckles is tall, before finding an agreeable letter. He begins reading it aloud, however, Orbot appears and mentions that it seems to look like Eggman's handwriting. Eggman angrily stuffs the letter into Orbot and stamps his head down, asking him to take a closer look at the letter. He then suggests that the reader submit letters, e-mails, Tweets, and fan-art to Archie Comics.
