Bucket-O-Rings is a 2 VS 2 mini-game in Sonic Shuffle. It is randomly played when a player lands on an Event Space.

Gameplay

Two teams of two players line up between a Ring pile and a mine cart. The player on the left presses to face the bounty of Rings and to scoop up two Rings at a time with their bucket. Pressing faster scoops them up more quickly. The bucket can hold as many as 10 Rings, but at any time the left player can move to pass the bucket to their teammate. The player on the right then presses to pick up the bucket of Rings from their partner, then press to move to the cart. They should then press to dump the Rings into the minecart only when an exclamation point is over their character's head. Pressing when there is no exclamation point will result in the Rings not landing in the cart. The more Rings there are in the bucket, the harder it is to carry it.

When the timer expires, the team with the most Rings each receive half the collected Rings. Any Rings still in the air when time is up won't count towards the final total.
