Psychic Sonic is a VS 4 mini-game in Sonic Shuffle. It is randomly played when a player lands on an Event Space.
Gameplay
A card appears from the pot in the center of the room and a letter starts to appear on the card. Players must press the button corresponding to the letter (

) when they can identify the card. A player wins 5 Rings if they guess correctly, with an additional 5 for each consecutive correct guess in a row. If a player makes an incorrect guess, that player will lose five Rings. The player who has won the most Rings when the timer reaches zero wins.
Computer players can play this mini-game very well, but there is a strategy that can be used against them. Since there are only four cards to choose from, there are only four different patterns the mystery card makes before revealing itself. The best way of spotting it is when the card pops up, wait exactly a second. The card that is most clear one second later will be the card.
