Redz is a badnik that appears in the cut level Hidden Palace Zone. Its design is a small, red dinosaur which slowly moves about where it's standing. It does not attack back and can be destroyed by jumping on it. The Redz object was removed in Sonic 2 Beta 5.
Redz finally made an official appearance in the Android and iPhone release of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in 2013. In this version, it also will spit fire at the player, rather than simply behaving like a Moto Bug.
