Hidden Treasure Rings or simply Hidden Treasure Items are special Ring-type items found in the PS2/Wii version of Sonic Unleashed[1]. They appear in the "Special Mission! Find the Tresure!" night stage missions, where the player's goal is to obtain exactly five of this items to earn a Sun Medal for the first time each mission is completed[1].
As soon as the player obtains the five Hidden Treasure Rings, the mission is instantly cleared. This type of mission is, by consequence, the only type of Night Stage, besides the tutorial missions, that doesn't require the player to get to a Goal Ring or beat a Boss (Dark Gaia Phoenix, Dark Moray or Dark Guardian).
