Hidden Setting
In the PC port, one can open the file "%AppData%\SEGA\SONICHEROES\sonic_h.ini" in a text editor, and add the line
Charmy_Shutup 1
This will disable all voice clips that do not have accompanying subtitles (such as attacks, idling and scoring).
Metallic Character Textures (2P mode)
In multiplayer mode, if you hold and ( and on PS2) when you select a stage, your characters will have a metallic texture.
