Egg Bishops (エッグビショップ), are enemies found in Sonic Heroes. They are stage specific and only appear in Hang Castle, Mystic Mansion, and Robot Storm (except Team Rose).
Egg Bishops are red clad and wear magician caps. They also carry a strange scepter with them. They can perform incantations that will heal their fellow robot brethren. It's always best to eliminate the Bishop first before attacking its friends. They don't have any offensive attacks.
Egg Bishops are unique in that they are actually two robots in one. If they get attacked with a wind-based attack, they will flip over and transform in to an Egg Magician.
Trivia
- The codes discovered in the PC version of the game contains material operations for the transparent version of the enemy with additive alpha, but they were not used in any of it's abilities especially the Egg Magician. However, the transparent model is only rendered if the opacity is lower than normal.
