Metallic character textures (2P Play mode)
In 2P Play mode, if a player holds and ( and on PS2) when selecting a stage, their characters will have metallic textures, making them look like robots.
Hidden voice clip setting
In the PC port, one can open the file "%AppData%\SEGA\SONICHEROES\sonic_h.ini" in a text editor, and add the line:
Charmy_Shutup 1
This will disable all voice clips that do not have accompanying subtitles (such as attacks, idling and scoring).
Unused content
Moves
Tornado Jump variants
Amy and Espio have leftover code for versions of the Tornado Jump based on Sonic's and Shadow's versions of the move before they were replaced with the Tornado Hammer and Leaf Swirl respectively. Unlike Shadow's and Sonic's Tornado Jump abilities, these moves do not attract to enemies. The voice clips associated with them also go unused.
