Auto HomingMedia:SonicHeroes GC US manual.pdf[1] (オートホーミングMedia:SonicHeroes PS2 JP manual.pdf[2]) is a move that can be performed by all teams while in Power Formation in Sonic Heroes.

Overview

To use this move, the player needs to be in Power Formation with at least one teammate present and approach an enemy. The Speed character and the Fly character will automatically attack the enemy with Homing Attacks to defend the Power character without any further input from the player. They will also attack the enemies while the Power character is in motion.

In the case of the Speed character, the power of their Homing Attack can also be affected by how many blue Power Cores they have collected, much like the regular Homing Attack. The higher the Speed character's level, the more powerful their Homing Attack will be, and can even gain the Tornado Jump's effects as well.
