Jewel the Beetle is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by IDW Publishing.
Character conception
Tangle was conceptualized by writer Ian Flynn, while artist Jennifer Hernandez handled the character design.[2]
Personality and traits
Jewel is the best friend of Tangle the Lemur. As the level-headed one of the pair, Jewel has been bailing Tangle out of trouble since childhood. While Tangle has a thirst for adventure, Jewel prefers her quiet life as curator of the Mineral Museum in Spiral Hill Village.
