Never Lake[1] (ネバーレイク)[2] is a location featured in Sonic the Hedgehog CD. It is the beautiful, large lake where Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose venture to and find Little Planet anchored to a nearby mountain. This lake lacks any sort of beach as there is a steep drop-off surrounding all parts of the lake. There are also several mountains and rocks, one of which has a caricature of Dr. Eggman's face. This lake can be seen in the opening video of Sonic CD and also on its title screen.
