Bata-pyon (バタピョン / Batapyon) is a badnik featured in Sonic CD, in Wacky Workbench Zone. It is based on the grasshopper.
These badniks simply spring around the level, and as such are slightly more dangerous than Anton. When broken down due to age, they spring slower.

The Robot Grasshopper jumps on its enemies with it's super coil spring!
