Vultron[1][2] is a Badnik featured in Mirage Saloon Zone from Sonic Mania.

Overview

Based on vultures, these Badniks are commonly seen perched on top of cacti or ledges until they are approached by the player, in which case they'll swoop in and attack by flying in an arc, doing a loop and repeating the pattern for as long as possible even if they fly far away from their point of origin. When left alone, they can become a nuisance, especially in larger numbers, so taking them out with a simple Spin Attack is enough to stop them.

In Sonic/Tails/Mighty/Ray's version of Act 1, two Vultrons are released by the Heavy Magician, while most other Vultrons in the Act will ambush the player from off-screen at various points.
