The Grand Slam (ファイナルスマッシュ) is a move performed by Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic Frontiers. It is an offensive move for use in combat.
Overview
Unlike other unlockable Skills the Grand Slam is not unlocked as part of the skill tree, but is instead unlocked by freeing Amy on Kronos Island. When unlocked, a prompt to press

(Switch) will appear when Sonic successfully Parries an enemy attack. If the player presses this button combination when prompted, then Sonic will immediately Spin Dash towards the enemy that attacked him to deal a counterattack. He will deal six hits to the enemy, then finish with a diving kick. The Recovery Smash is similar to this move, but is activated when taking damage instead.
If Super Sonic performs this move on the Titans, he will use different kinds of counterattacks depending on the Titan.
