The Banger is an enemy that appears in Sonic Frontiers.

Overview

The Banger is a robot, presumably created by the Ancients, that consists of a crimson wheel-shaped robot with a polyhedral center and two rhombus-shaped structures by the sides. It can run at high-speeds once a target is spotted, charging at it.

If a Banger spots Sonic, it will charge at him before quickly rushing, making it a difficult attack to be dodged. In order to defeat it, Sonic must either execute a Cyloop around the enemy to destroy it in one hit or hit it one time once Banger is out of its charging state to render it immobile. Once immobile however, Banger will behave like a spinning top and chase after Sonic; the only ways to stop without getting hit are by parrying the attack or running around until Banger self destructs itself.
