Cyber Space is a digital realm in Sonic Frontiers, accessible through Portals spread across the Starfall Islands.

Overview
Each of the levels in Cyber Space are themed or modeled after Zones/places from past games of the series such as Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations, explained as part of Sonic's memories. They are presented with abstract features such as floating chunks of lands, structures or roads. While the time of day changes depending on the stage, all of them feature pixelated skies befitting the general aesthetic.
Four level aesthetics make up the Cyber Space stages: Green Hill, Chemical Plant and Sky Sanctuary inspired directly by their Sonic Generations versions and a general urban theme. Also, there are 30 Cyber Space levels in total across 4 of the Starfall Islands. The islands commonly have 7 levels with the only exceptions being Rhea Island which has no levels and Ouranos Island which has 9 levels.
Completing the levels will reward the player with Vault Keys, necessary to collect the Chaos Emeralds. By clearing additional missions within each level which include finishing the level fast enough to get an S Rank, finishing with a certain amount of Rings and collecting all 5 Red Star Rings, the player will be rewarded with more Vault Keys, with three additional Vault Keys rewarded for clearing all four missions.
"Another Story" features an additional nine Cyber Space levels which are remixed from the levels in the main story and feature different gimmicks, such as having to race a hologram version of Tails to the goal or managing Sonic's speed. Instead of Red Star Rings, these levels feature Number Rings and Silver Moon Rings as extra collectibles to complete missions. Some levels also feature Animals, which Sonic needs to safely escort to specific points to rescue them - he can only walk and jump while carrying the animals and will drop them if he is hit. Completing missions in these levels will reward the player with Lookout Koco instead.
History
This cybernetic environment is actually a creation from the distant past, created by the Ancients as a sort of advanced backup for their memories, hopes and dreams to be shared for future generations. Noted by Sage early on, it is supposedly impossible to escape this realm and Sonic was the first to ever do such a thing, although there are side effects to it.
