The Red Titan (タイタン) is the largest and most powerful of Dark Gaia's Minions in Sonic Unleashed, and one of three that function as in-level mini-bosses (the others being Big Mother and the Titan). It is a large, muscular, masculine creature, and carries a large wooden hammer of sorts. This variant of the Titan appears only in the Wii/PS2 version of the game.
Overview
It is similar to a Titan in terms of appearance, but they is colored red with cyan markings, and is stronger and more aggressive then a regular Titan. It mainly attacks with its wooden hammer, and with the shockwaves that come from the impact of the hammer. It can also jump into the air, and send out a shockwave upon landing. The Red Titan can strike with a three-hit-combo or swing its club around haphazardly, hitting anything within its radius. The best way to deal with the brute is to move out of the way when it attacks, then strike when it stops.
