Snail Blaster, also known as Den-Den (デンデン) in JapanMedia:Sonic3_MD_JP_SonicJam_manual.pdf[1] and formerly known as Snale BlasterMedia:Sonic3_MD_US_SonicJam_manual.pdf[2], is a snail-like Badnik from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 found in Launch Base Zone.

They trudge up and down walls, occasionally opening their shells; this is the chance to attack them, but watch out, they will fire off a pair of flashing projectiles that will hurt unless you have a Shield. Hitting them before they completely open their shell won't do any good. This Badnik made an appearance in the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA.

This Badnik later made a reappearance in Sonic Lost World as a common enemy found in various levels. Here, they do not crawl on walls, but instead move slowly in the lateral direction on the ground, occasionally stopping to shoot at Sonic. Some Snail Blasters may also curl into their shells and roll into Sonic should he get too close to them. They are also among the many Badniks shown to turn against Dr. Eggman after the Deadly Six take control during the story.

Snail Blasters have also appeared in both Sonic Runners and Sonic Runners Adventure as mere obstacles that slowly trudge forward. Like other Badniks, they come in a gold variety that awards 300 more points when destroyed, and a dark grey "Super" variety that can only be destroyed by Color Powers or Power Type characters.
