Tangle the Lemur is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by IDW Publishing. She was first revealed on IGN.com on January 24, 2018.[2]
Contents
Character conception
Tangle was created by Ian Flynn, while Tyson Hesse drew the character design.[3] Tangle was originally going to be a Hare based on Sonic's early design but was changed to a Lemur to separate her from Cream the Rabbit.[4] Yuji Uekawa did the final design for Tangle's shoes.[5]

Personality and traits
Tangle is an excitable ring-tailed lemur with a thirst for adventure. She first met Sonic while defending her hometown, Spiral Hill Village, from Dr. Eggman's robots. Her best friend is a beetle named Jewel, who she grew up with. Aleah Baker confirmed that she also likes Raspberries.[6]
