The Asteroid Coaster Boss takes place on a moving runway with a battleship like its Wii counterpart, named Skullian. If Sonic boosts into the battleship, or its asteroid hammer, he is rewarded with the Violet Void, which the player can use to destroy, or even engulf the boss.
