The Heat Stomp, known as Heat Stomping (ヒートストンピング) in Japan, is a move performed by Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic Frontiers. It is his variant of the Stomp normally used by Sonic.

Overview
The Heat Stomp can be unlocked in the game's Skill menu for 5 Skill Points. When unlocked, the player can then press 
(PS4/PS5)/
(XB1)/
(Switch) in mid-air to make Knuckles spiral downwards fists first similar to the Drill Claw to attack enemies or press down switches, creating a fiery shockwave when he lands. However, unlike Sonic's version of the move, the Heat Stomp has a short delay before Knuckles drops down, and he cannot rebound into the air if // is held.
