Overview

Soldiers are common enemies in Sonic Frontiers, and they appear on all 5 main islands. Soldiers were built by the Ancients as just that, soldiers. In their prime, they were intended to serve as defenses against The End.

Soldiers will automatically dash towards Sonic when he is within their vicinity, and use one main attack where they stab at Sonic with their sharp arms. Soldiers encountered on later islands may also put up barricades against Sonic when attacked, and the player must use Cyloop to drop their guard.

Design Origins

Soldiers are heavily inspired by Sachiel from Neon Genesis Evangelion. They have nearly identical body shapes, note the shared jutted out hips and stocky shoulders.

Sachiel, the main design inspiration for Soldiers.
