Collision Chaos appears in issue #25 of Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog comic series, under the name Collision Chaos Zone. An artificial zone created by Dr. Robotnik, he intentionally let the Knothole Freedom Fighters discover a portal that leads into it. His intention with this was to lure Sonic into exploring it, where a chasing Snively would've forced him to eventually proceed to the Stardust Speedway Zone, where Robotnik himself was ready to crush him with a deadly trap.
