Bata-pyon (バタピョン / Batapyon) is a Badnik featured in Sonic CD in Wacky Workbench. It is based on the grasshopper.
These badniks simply spring around the level, and as such are slightly more dangerous than Anton. When broken down due to age, they spring slower.

Name origin
"Batta" is the Japanese word for "grasshopper", while "pyon-pyon" means "hop".
