Fortune Cards are an item Amy Rose regularly uses throughout the series.

Overview

The Fortune Cards, originally called Tarot Cards, were first mentioned within the Japanese manual for Sonic the Hedgehog CDMedia:SonicCD MCD JP manual.pdf^[1]. They were how Amy first met Sonic the Hedgehog. The cards fell into obscurity for a long time afterwards, only being mentioned in Sonic Battle. They were brought back within Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, then later in Sonic Origins and Sonic Frontiers.

In gameplay, Amy used the cards in the move Tarot Draw in Sonic Chronicles. In Sonic Frontiers, Amy used her Cyber Corruption to create the cards for attacks and movement on Ouranos Island, even using them to enhance her Boost and her stomp.
