The Cyclone Kick, known as the Tornado Attack (トルネードアタック) in Japan, is a move performed by Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic Frontiers. It is an offensive move for use in combat.

Overview

Unlike other unlockable Skills the Cyclone Kick is not unlocked as part of the skill tree, but is instead unlocked by freeing Knuckles on Ares Island. When unlocked, the player can then press and hold (PS4/PS5)/ (XB1)/ (Switch) during a combo when fighting an enemy to make Sonic start spinning in circles in mid-air, creating a powerful electrical cyclone with his leg that deals up to 17 hits of damage to the enemy. He will then finish the move by launching himself skyward with an acrobatic flourish.
