The Charged Wrench Attack, known as the Charge Spanner Attack (チャージスパナアタック) in Japan, is a move performed by Miles "Tails" Prower in Sonic Frontiers. It is an offensive move for use in combat and a variant of the Wrench Attack.

Overview

The Charged Wrench Attack can be unlocked in the game's Skill menu for 40 Skill Points after unlocking the Wrench Attack. When unlocked, the player can then hold (PS4/PS5)/ (XB1)/ (Switch) while on the ground, in the air or during flight to charge the move, then release the button to simultaneously throw four wrenches that will spin in the air for a few seconds. When thrown at enemies, the wrenches will deal multiple hits.

Additionally, Tails can use the spinning wrenches as a single-use platform by colliding with them. This will also allow him to Double Jump and fly again after having previously done so, and so the Charged Wrench Attack can be used repeatedly in conjunction with the aforementioned Skills to continuously gain altitude.
