True Colors: The Best of Sonic the Hedgehog Part 2 is a compilation album produced by Jun Senoue. A follow up to the previous True Blue: The Best of Sonic the Hedgehog, it is a collection of various musical tracks throughout Sonic the Hedgehog's gaming career. Like the previous volume, a majority of the tracks are from the post-Sonic Adventure era, with only three tracks featuring material composed before 1998.
Bonus track, "Look-a-like," is the only song on the album not to come from a video game, having originally featured in the 1996 OVA Sonic the Hedgehog. This was the first time any music from that feature has been released commercially.
