The Titans, known as Kyoshin (巨神) in Japan, are a group of colossal robots that appear in Sonic Frontiers. These robots serve as the major bosses of each of the Starfall Islands with the exception of Rhea Island, and require Sonic to gather the seven Chaos Emeralds and transform into Super Sonic to be able to stand a chance. Most of them are also in possession of the purple Chaos Emerald, thus Sonic must climb them in order to reclaim it.

History

The Titans were ordered by Master King in order to help fend off The End if it were to ever come and threaten their life on Earth. Unfortunately, the Titans still weren't enough. Their pilots, Dragon, Snake, Tiger and Crane were forced to make a last-ditch effort to stop The End by containing it. Crane used their Titan, Supreme, to bind The End to a physical form that would then be sealed inside of Cyber Space. The other Titans were likely being used to support this seal as well since their defeat was necessary in the freedom of The End.
