Ladybuggy[1] is a variety of Badnik created by Dr. Eggman, encountered by Sonic or Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble.

Overview

STT SP Badnik B.PNG

These Badniks heavily resemble Moto Bugs from the 16-bit Sonic titles, and are seen trundling back and forth across Sunset Park Zone's rails in Spin Coasters. They don't pose much of a threat, and are only harmful if the player runs into them. After the robot is destroyed with a Spin Attack, the player can steal their vehicle and blast away at great speed.

Like other robots in 8-bit Sonic games, no animal friends pop out of these bots when they are destroyed. Whether these Badniks canonically don't contain organic batteries, or the escaping critters simply aren't shown due to programming limitations, is not known.
