Sonic Blast has gone through several changes over its development process. Actually, the boxart is the only known change according to available magazine scans.
Prototype Box Art
This image was first found on the Compuserve Sega Section. This sonic model was used for the first edition of Sonic CD's PC box artwork, Sonic's Schoolhouse, Sonic X-treme, and other advertisements.
