The Egg Shackle is a Badnik featured in Sonic Unleashed.

Overview
Found only in Mazuri's Entrance Stage and Jungle Joyride Day Act 1 in the X-Box/PS3 version, Egg Shackles behave much like the Mega Chopper Badniks from Sonic the Hedgehog 3. If Sonic makes contact with them, they will latch onto him and slowly suck the rings out of him one at a time while also preventing him from jumping very high or using the Sonic Boost. To shake them off, the player must repeatedly Stomp or use the Foot Sweep.
In the PS2/Wii version, they exist in the Cool Edge Day Stages and work very differently. They'll appear on the floor and stay doing tiny jumps. If Sonic gets too close, they will attach to him and explode after some time unless Sonic gets rid of them. Sonic can shake them off by jumping or Boosting.
