Fang the Hunter serves as an alternate eleventh major boss of Sonic Superstars, replacing the original boss at the end of Egg Fortress Zone Act 2 as the final boss of Trip's Story. Instead of Dr. Eggman or Eggrobo, Fang suddenly appears at the end of the Act to fight Trip in an enhanced Marvelous Queen.
