Overview
This enemy is essentially a variant of the Egg Fighter Shield with a spring attached to its shield, and it is referred to by that name in the X-Box/PS3 versions of the game, while in the PS2/Wii versions it is considered it's own variety of Egg Fighter. Under most circumstances, depending on the angle of attack, using the Homing Attack on this enemy results in being sprung up into the air a great distance. To avoid such, use a Homing Attack from the back, or try sliding into this enemy to avoid being sprung up. Or just simply dodge it and keep on running.
