This enemy is simply referred to as another Egg Fighter Shield in-game, and since there's an electric shield variant that does not have its own page, as well as three different shield variants of the Egg Fighter Knight, the information here should be over on the Egg Fighter Shield page instead. --BSonirachi (talk) 16:54, 18 January 2019 (EST)

Merging would just cause confusion. All other variants of Egg Fighters are separated, as well as the Electro-Spinner is separated from the Spinner, etc, so this should stay separated as well. Either way it is considered a different foe by the game, which calls it "Egg Fighter (Spring)" and not "Egg Fighter (Shield) with a spring" and have their own distinct concept arts, unlike the example you gave. --SonicUnleashedPS2 (talk) 15:29, 24 February 2024 (EST)
