Aquatic Ruin Zone, known as "Neo Green Hill Zone" here, is the first stage of the Simon Wai prototype, and is mostly complete, save for one important issue - there are no big underwater sections. There are also no enemies here, except the arrow-shooting totems, and little mistakes can cost lives.

The splash graphics are corrupted in this prototype, with the game rendering half a bubble and some other garbage instead. Tails doesn't make a splash when he enters the water.
