The Stinger is a badnik found in Neo Green Hill Zone, Angel Island Zone (Sonic Advance), Leaf Forest, Sky Canyon and Egg Utopia, which is strongly based on the Buzzer badnik, found in Emerald Hill Zone. In Neo Green Hill Zone, Angel Island Zone (Sonic Advance) and Sky Canyon, this robot is bullet-firing type, in which the robot flies above the player and fires a bullet when approached.
