Sonic Advance 3 is the third game in the Sonic Advance series released for the Game Boy Advance. Unlike the first two games in the series, SA3 features ability to play two characters in a partner setting.
Game Play
The gameplay of this game is similar to that of Knuckles' Chaotix, with its 2 character team-ups and ring-dropping enemies, though the actual ring bands are gone. Like Sonic Advance 2, this game's merit is the subject of a lot of debate. It really comes down to personal taste - this isn't really a bad game, but many people don't like the gameplay.
Abilities with Sonic as a Partner
With Sonic as a partner, the lead character can use Sonic to immediately take off in Boost mode. Additionally, the lead character also has their Sonic Advance 2 speed.
- When Tails is the leader,
- When Knuckles is the leader, he gains a Jump Dash type attack.
- When Amy is the leader, she is able to use the spin attack while jumping.
- When Cream is the leader,

- When Cream is the leader, Cheese will glow with power.
Abilities with Amy as a Partner
