In order to get to the emerald, Sonic must climb the Giganto first, by crossing the blue rings to dash him up faster and boosting to the top of the Titan. Sonic must avoid the red shockwaves however, since those can result on a loss of [[Ring]]s and push him away from reaching the Titan's top. After reaching and interacting with the emerald vault on Giganto's head, a cutscene is triggered; showing the Super Sonic transformation before transitioning to the next phase of the battle.

Giganto is the first of the four Titans from Sonic Frontiers. It appears on the first island, Kronos Island.

History

Description

Giganto is a colossal humanoid of robotic appearance. It holds the last Chaos Emerald necessary for the Super Sonic transformation.

Strategy

First encounter

The first battle starts with Giganto launching boulders onto the air with his ground-breaking stomp, Sonic must use the Homing Attack to hit the boulders and approach the Titan. Once Sonic is close enough to Giganto, he can repeatedly hit its face with the Homing Attack up to 10 times until a cutscene is prompted.
