Sonic Dash Extreme is an arcade machine. It is an updated version of the iOS/Android title Sonic Dash developed for arcades. It was released on May 2015 . The game has daily and all time leaderboards. The game is played with a giant d-pad being used to control the game.
The game has differences and also 8 characters to play as. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Blaze, Silver, Rouge, or Cream. The characters are picked randomly. Pressing left and right the player will move sideways. Pressing up makes the player jump. Pressing down makes the playier Roll Attack.\
Redemption tickets are awarded to the player if the player passes through the small sections. Eggman is fightable and rides in his Egg Mobile. The battle is different than the smart phone version.
