Sonic to Himitsu no Ring Taikenban (ソニックと秘密のリング 体験版) is a Japanese Wii demo disc for Sonic and the Secret Rings. It was offered for free to 1,000 people in Japan who registered via Famitsu by 10PM on February 23rd, 2007.
According to Famitsu, four worlds are available to play in the Adventure mode of the demo. These stages are Lost Prologue, Sand Oasis, Dinosaur Jungle, and Evil Foundry. There are eight stages in the Lost Prologue to help the player learn the game and controls. Various skills on the skill ring can be activated, about 20 types in all. There is also a special book mode.
On August 20, 2014, this demo was dumped by Orengefox and released on the Sonic Retro Forums.
