Secret MissionsMedia:SonicUnleashed PS2 US manual.pdf are extra levels unlockable on the PS2/Wii versions of Sonic Unleashed, either Day Stage or Night Stage missions, which most often consist of sections from either the main Acts' maps or areas from alternative Day Stage terrain layouts.

Overview

There is a total of 28 Secret Missions in this game, from which 23 can be unlocked by collecting Secret Mission Item Capsules in the Gaia GatesMedia:SonicUnleashed PS2 US manual.pdf. The other five missions are obtained as soon as the player collects at least certain amounts of Secret Items:

• Secret Mission 2 is unlocked at 30 Secret Items
• Secret Mission 6 is unlocked at 60 Secret Items
• Secret Mission 10 is unlocked at 100 Secret Items
• Secret Mission 13 is unlocked at 150 Secret Items

The last obtainable mission (Secret Mission 25) - "Reach the goal unscathed!" Day Stage in Adabat - is unlocked when you get all Secret Items except Secret Movie 36, which you obtain in this level, in other words, 215 Secret Items.
